As an industry-leading TPU film, Argotec™ Hydrophilic TPU Film is a line of versatile and durable thermoplastic polyurethane film and sheet products designed for high-performance textile and industrial lamination. Providing performance and function, Argotec thermoplastic polyurethane film is used for bonding fabric, waterproofing, and air or liquid containment applications. Recognized for its consistency, Argotec TPU film and sheet products are the material of choice for textile designers and laminators of the leading medical, performance apparel, footwear and outdoor application manufacturers around the world.
Argotec TPU films (formerly Argoflex) are super thin and hydrophilic making them ideal for lamination to fabrics. With a high moisture vapor transmission rate the material provides outstanding breathability and user comfort. This film is compatible with all commercial lamination techniques enabling designers to create cost-effective waterproof-breathable textile composites in single film-to-fabric or multi-layer combinations. These durable but flexible thermoplastic polyurethane films can also be enhanced with antibacterial, antifungal and antistatic packages. Argotec TPU films and sheet have excellent UV, abrasion, chemical and temperature resistance and are used in marine, hazmat and a wide range of protective applications.
