Erosion Control

Our erosion control products and components provide flexible containment and protection functionalities that keep erosion in check. Conwed netting is essential in rolled erosion control products (RECPs). Our customers use our plastic netting as the containment element in their Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs), Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs), and Sediment Retention Fiber Rolls (SRFRs), usually known as wattles.

Conwed is an active member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) www.ieca.org and the Erosion Control Technology Council (ECTC) www.ectc.org

What is Erosion Control?

Erosion Control prevents or controls wind or water erosion in agriculture, land development, and construction. Vegetation, such as grasses and wildflowers, and other materials such as straw, fiber, stabilizing emulsion, protective blankets, etc., are placed to stabilize areas disturbed by grading operations, reduce loss of soil due to the action of water or wind, and prevent water pollution.

Conwed manufactures netting components and synthetic fibers that manufacturers utilize to assemble their final erosion control products. Our netting portfolio is an essential component in Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs), Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs), and Sediment Retention Fiber Rolls (SRFRs) — also known as wattles.

Conwed has a complete line of soil stabilization products and geotextiles dedicated to safeguarding grass’s ground base, aesthetics, and health in different weather and physical conditions.

Paver Netting

Manufactured from 100% recycled polyethylene, the Conwed™ Netting for Pavers 50 and Conwed™ Netting for Pavers 25 systems provide an attractive, easy-to-use, durable soil stabilization solution to provide car parks, pavements, and pathways.

Plastic Fencing

Conwed has a plastic fencing configuration to meet your needs, whether you need plastic fence netting for construction-site safety, snow management, public-event crowd control, or other agricultural applications.

Erosion Control Blanket Netting

Erosion Control Blanket Netting

Conwed™ Netting is used as the containment material in Rolled Erosion Control Products (RECPs) for temporary and permanent applications. Erosion Control Blanket (ECB) netting is designed to perform during the useful life of the blanket.

Wattle Netting

Wattle Netting

Conwed manufactures extruded and knitted netting used as the containment material in Sediment Retention Fiber Rolls (SRFRs), also known as wattles or socks. Our netting provides enough flexibility and movement for the most challenging sediment and flow control applications without sacrificing tensile strength.

Conwed™ Synthetic Fibers

Conwed™ Multifilament Yarn

Conwed™ Multifilament Yarn is designed to provide excellent loft and matrix fill-in Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs) for permanent erosion control applications. Our portfolio of synthetic fibers includes a variety of colors and recycled materials that adapt to the requirements of the final erosion control application.
