Argotec™ Edge Seal film is an edge seal accessory to the Argotec TPU, EVA or PVB products. It was developed to increase the durability and extend the life of glass lamination applications. The innovative product protects the edges of TPU- or PVB-laminated glass composites from chipping and penetration by moisture, cleaning solutions, and solvents contained in caulks and sealants. It also serves to create an aesthetically pleasing appearance on the edge of the laminate.
It is compatible with glass-to-glass, glass-to-polycarbonate, and other commonly used substrates used in security and architectural applications. The advanced edge seal protection has a unique foil layer sandwiched between two sheets of tough, chemical-resistant polyurethane, offering the ultimate in performance.
